I have (20) SNG 434 (1/2" square, 3/16" thick, holeless, 1/16" radius, neutral rake) inserts. 10 are TIN coated and 10 are uncoated all solid carbide (grade U222, TRW 027 and CY 14 ??) made by TRW / Greenfield. I've also got (10) RNG 32 (3/8" circle, 1/8" thick, holeless, neutral rake) uncoated inserts by the same maker. All are brand new and in the package. They don't fit anything I have and I'll never use them. Willing to sell off for cheap or if anyone has any cool tooling to trade I'm open to that. _________________ www.warpedairsmithing.com |

If you can braze, I've seen them stuck down to funky shaped boring bars and other custom tooling.
It's a lot easier to fab a bar from regular steel and braze on an insert than it is to broach a hole for a HSS tool bit.
Just a thought for uses if you can't sell them.
Might also post them over on the Practical Machinist forum, somebody over there might have a use for them.
IIRC MecaBore used to (or might still, I suppose) make a boring bar that took the SNG inserts.
Good luck with your sale, I've been culling tools and stuff I can live without for a couple of weeks now too.
